Thayer is Vice President and Director of Commercial, where he directs the sales, leasing, development, and management for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Commonwealth Real Estate Commercial Division. Thayer who is a long-standing member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) and a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation candidate, has consistently for the past twenty-four years been recognized as a valued and trusted commercial resource and a major contributor to the overall success of Berkshire Hathaway. Thayer has successfully negotiated over 1,293 commercial real estate transactions, totaling over 48.5 million square feet of office, retail, life science and flex space with a transaction value well over $1.9 Billion dollars. He serves on the Professional Standards Committee for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, and is an Advisor with Gerson Lehrman Group and the Coleman Research Group Executive Forum.
